In short, it’s both a beer lover’s paradise and a German culture festival with food, music, and dance—fun with friends, dates, or family.
Signature Highlights That Return Every Year
100+ Beers on Tap
Expect favorites like Hofbräu, Paulaner, Erdinger, plus Japan-only kegs and venue exclusives—well over 100 choices overall.
Quick style guide to help you choose:
- Lager (Helles / Pils): crisp, refreshing; easy drinking.
- Weissbier (Wheat): fruity and aromatic; super approachable.
- Dunkel (Dark): roasty, malty depth; great with hearty meats.
- Festbier: brewed for Oktoberfest—fuller malt and festive richness.
Worried a 1-liter mug is too much? The crowd energy and band make it surprisingly doable. 😉
Live German Band = Instant Party
Once the polka starts, the tent turns into a dance floor. You’ll be clinking steins and singing with new friends in no time—that is the Oktoberfest magic.
Food to Match Your Pour
Don’t miss the sausage platter. Pair dunkels with schnitzel or ribs; go wheat beer with pretzels or salads; and fries go wonderfully with light, crisp lagers.
Not Just Beer
There’s also fruit beers, mocktails, non-alcoholic options, juices, and soft drinks—easy to enjoy for everyone.
What’s New & Not-to-Miss in 2025
Point 1|Japan-only & Venue-exclusive Beers
Alongside German classics, look for Japan-first releases and venue-only kegs—the selection totals 100+ beers. Non-alcoholic and non-beer drinks are offered at every food booth this year.
Point 2|Three Brewery-Themed Beer Garden Zones
The familiar main tent is back with live music, and 2025 adds beer-garden seating split into three brewery-themed areas—decor, menus, and vibes tailored to each brand. Think imported German pours, non-alcoholic picks, and hearty outdoor foods like sausages and slow-cooked ribs.
Point 3|Yokohama-only Original Beer & Noritake Mug
Star of the year: the Yokohama Oktoberfest Beer (Helles), brewed with local craft brewery Yokohama Beer. Balanced bitterness, clean finish—perfect with sausages, meats, and fries. Only at Red Brick!

It’s poured in a playful, exclusive Noritake mug designed for this event—clink two mugs and the illustrated characters “cheers” together. Note: the mug is on a deposit system and cannot be taken home.
Point 4|More Reserved Seating
Reserved tables have doubled from last year, set toward the back of the main tent with a great view of the crowd. Book by the hour (or for the day) to breeze through peak times.

- Weekdays: ¥1,500 / table / hour
- Weekends & holidays: ¥2,500 / table / hour
Book here (official)
Point 5|Hofbräu Booth Returns
The popular Hofbräu booth is back—think royal-approved Bavarian classics with options for all-you-can-drink and reserved seats. It’s typically calmer than the main tent, great for a seated, culinary experience.
