However, since they are ships, they are not in the same place every day.
So here’s a guide on when and where you can see these impressive cruise ships♪

Location of the Three Cruise Terminals at Yokohama Port

There are three cruise terminals at Yokohama Port.

  • Shinko Passenger Terminal
  • Osanbashi Pier
  • Daikoku Pier Cruise Terminal
https://www.city.yokohama.lg.jp/kanko-bunka/minato/kyakusen/terminal.html

The terminals closest to the Yokohama / Minato Mirai central area are Shinko Pier and Osanbashi.
Osanbashi in particular extends out into the sea, offering the best and closest views of docked cruise ships.

Daikoku Pier is located across the harbor from central Yokohama / Minato Mirai and beyond the Yokohama Bay Bridge, so ships may appear slightly smaller from a distance (though they are still visible from Osanbashi and other areas).

So if possible, we recommend aiming to see cruise ships docking at Osanbashi or Shinko Pier!

May 2026

Many cruise ships will visit Yokohama in May as well, but the highlight is undoubtedly the final call of the Nippon Maru on May 10 (Sun). This is your last chance to see this beloved ship that has been cherished for many years.
