GREEN EXPO 2027 is now less than one year away.
To celebrate one year before the opening, a special drone show will be held at Rinko Park this March — and it will take place twice!!
The official title is:
“Let’s Go Blooming for the Earth. 1 Year to Go. GREEN×EXPO 2027 Drone Show supported by DRONE SHOW JAPAN”

It’s held on weekdays, but since there are two dates, try to visit if you’re available on either day!
Drone Show Highlights
This show is planned as a story-driven light performance themed around “flowers and greenery.”
Hundreds of drones will create a three-dimensional display, illustrating the transformation from bud to full bloom.
The flower animations spreading across the night sky will feel like a gigantic garden blooming above Yokohama.
The performance will reflect themes such as growth, connection, and circulation — perfectly aligned with the spirit of the horticultural expo.
The official GREEN×EXPO 2027 mascot “Tunk Tunk” is also scheduled to appear.
In addition, “Myaku-Myaku,” the character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, will join the show!
There will also be synchronized BGM in the viewing area at Rinko Park, adding to the immersive experience.
Access to the Drone Show Venue (Rinko Park)
The venue is a large seaside park located in the heart of Minato Mirai.
- Minato Mirai Line “Minato Mirai Station” – approx. 5 minutes on foot
- Minato Mirai Line “Shin-Takashima Station” – approx. 10 minutes on foot
- JR / Municipal Subway “Sakuragicho Station” – approx. 15 minutes on foot
First Large-Scale Drone Show in Yokohama Minato Mirai Since 2024
There have been several drone shows in the Yokohama Minato Mirai area in the past, with one of the most notable being the large-scale performance at the Yokohama Port Festival. The June 2024 edition attracted significant attention. This upcoming show is expected to be another major event, bringing a large-scale drone performance back to the Minato Mirai night sky♪
