Hello, we’re Minato and Mirai♪
Cruise ships have become an iconic part of Yokohama’s scenery. If you’re visiting Yokohama, you’ll definitely want to see one!
However, since they are ships, they are not in the same place every day.
So here’s a guide on when and where you can see these impressive cruise ships♪

Use this as a reference for sightseeing or dates in Yokohama♪
*This article is updated regularly as new cruise ship schedules for Yokohama Port are announced.
Location of the Three Cruise Terminals at Yokohama Port
There are three cruise terminals at Yokohama Port.
- Shinko Passenger Terminal
- Osanbashi Pier
- Daikoku Pier Cruise Terminal

The terminals closest to the Yokohama / Minato Mirai central area are Shinko Pier and Osanbashi.
Osanbashi in particular extends out into the sea, offering the best and closest views of docked cruise ships.
Daikoku Pier is located across the harbor from central Yokohama / Minato Mirai and beyond the Yokohama Bay Bridge, so ships may appear slightly smaller from a distance (though they are still visible from Osanbashi and other areas).
So if possible, we recommend aiming to see cruise ships docking at Osanbashi or Shinko Pier!

We’ve also introduced recommended cruise viewing spots in this article, so check it out♪
Cruise Ship Schedule at Yokohama Port (March–June 2026)
The cruise ship schedule for Yokohama Port is published on the official Yokohama City website.
Currently, schedules from March to July have been released, so we’ll share the highlights for each month♪
In particular, keep an eye on the Nippon Maru schedule leading up to its final call on May 10!
March 2026
From March, many cruise ships begin arriving in Yokohama!
There are several days with multiple ships docking at once, making Osanbashi, Shinko, and Daikoku lively all at once.
You’ll have many chances to enjoy impressive views, including two ships docked simultaneously at Osanbashi or combinations across different terminals.
On March 20 (Fri), you can enjoy the second simultaneous docking of Asuka II and Asuka III this year♪
Additionally, on March 30 (Fri), the Piano Land—making its first call to Yokohama—was scheduled to dock at Daikoku Pier!
*As of March 15, this has been removed from the official site. Unfortunately, the call may have been canceled.

May 2026
Many cruise ships will visit Yokohama in May as well, but the highlight is undoubtedly the final call of the Nippon Maru on May 10 (Sun). This is your last chance to see this beloved ship that has been cherished for many years.
On the same day, the next-generation ship Mitsui Ocean Fuji will also be docked on the opposite side of Osanbashi.
This symbolic “baton pass” moment in maritime history is something you won’t want to miss!
